Our service unit has qualified mechanics, electricians and operators who manage a well-equipped, modern workshop.

Service workshop

Our service workshop provides service and repairs both to rental and the customers’ equipment. The work is performed either at one of our four workshops or on the customer’s premises, depending on what is the thumb_service3

most practical in order for the work to be completed within the agreed time and at the agreed price. The workshops are modern and well-equipped and are manned by a team of experienced professionals.

Several of our service personnel also have the necessary certificates to work offshore on the Norwegian continental shelf. These have long experience with our products, both as mechanics and operators.

We can offer service contracts for most of the machines we sell. The contracts may be established according to the customers’ wishes and may cover anything from service for 1 year at a time or that we take over full responsibility for operation of the machine. All at an agreed price.

We can also configure compressors and pumps for offshore use in accordance with specifications.

Test and repair workshop for pumps
We have also specialized in development and advanced testing of offshore pumps. Pumps are built tested and delivered in accordance with exact specifications and in close collaboration with the customer.

The test station has its own 90m³ pool where complete tests are run to achieve optimum results.

The components are received from sub-contractors and installed in the workshop at Forus. Advanced tests are then performed in close collaboration with the customer. The tests check the pumps’ capacity, noise level, lifting height, power consumption and vibrations. The results are printed out via a modern computer system.

Testing is based on ISO 2548-C and API 610.
